Designer Theorizer
Ideas are explored to deepen expertise. New patterns and elegant connections are noticed, and boundaries of thought are crossed easily. Ideas are played with, then detached from, so they can be analyzed. Clarify, reference, define. The talent is design and redesign. Whatever starts the imagination can be tried. Thinking about thinking is a pleasure. Core principles and solid models are held. Discovery brings joy. The physical world is what gets neglected. Hero is Skillful Sleuthing (Ti). Parent is Excited Brainstorming (Ne). Child is Cautious Protecting (Si). Inferior is Friendly Hosting (Fe): the human weather the model forgets, until it erupts.
Theorist · Rational · need of mastery/Behind-the-Scenes
Abstract and pragmatic. The aim is mastery: a strategy that can be tested, a competence that earns the right to decide. They coordinate or engineer. Authority that cannot do the work is not respected.
Home of the introverted judging types. Influence arrives as information, refinement, and a precise pressure from the side, not as a public order.
Roles 1-4. The same process is a different life in each role. Together they are the lens, not four lenses. This is how the process behaves here, in this type.
Ti · Hero
You lead with an inner standard of consistency. A thing is accepted when the definitions hold, the categories do not leak, and the account survives its own logic, apart from who benefits. Identity fuses with coherence. If you have to act before the model is clean you feel false, so you will not close. At its best you find the principle everyone else was talking around, and you can troubleshoot to the mechanism. At its worst whatever does not fit the model is declared unreal, including need, politics, and the body.
Focus on the definition you are using to avoid a person. Embody the analyst who can act while the model is still unfinished. Integration is keeping the standard of coherence, then letting a value tell you what the clean account is for.
Ne · Parent
You take care of people by showing them their options. You brainstorm a stuck place open, offer the analogy, and refuse to let them collapse into one grim story. The care is real: you give them back a future they had narrowed too early. The distortion is not letting them commit, because their closure feels like your failure to keep the field alive. You get restless and corrective when someone wants a single plan and the discipline to stay on it.
Focus on the single option they can use, not the field of all options. Embody the person who opens a way and then helps them choose. Integration is brainstorming for a while, then closing the menu on purpose.
Si · Child
The inner record is play and a bruise. You delight in a familiar comfort, a repeated pleasure, a private ritual, and you sulk when the routine is broken or your loyalty to how things were is called rigid. This is not always the competence you show the world. It is the part that wants the world to stay kind in a way it once was. Welcomed, it grounds a restless mind in a body and a history. Mocked, you clutch the memory and call the present rude.
Focus on one familiar comfort and let it be enough. Embody the part that wants the world kind in a way it once was. Integration is a repeated pleasure that restores you, not a shrine you defend against the whole present.
Fe · Anima / Animus
The shared field is the soul's door, and you are clumsy at it. Other people's feelings fascinate you and then flood you. You misread the tone, over-apologize, perform warmth you do not feel, or idealize the person who makes a room feel easy. You may call relationship a distraction from the real work and still be run by it. Performing goodness fails. If you let the actual bond inform you, a life of private models remembers it is not alone.
Focus on the tone between people, which you keep treating as noise. Embody a beginner at the bond. Integration is one real check-in a day, where you ask and then stay for the answer.
Roles 5-8. The functions the ego exiled, in the attitude it refused. They are still this lens. They are the part of the perspective the observer was not allowed to use.
Te · Opposing
Other people's organization irritates you. You call their plan crude, their metrics small, their leadership controlling. You block by refusing the procedure, or by seizing it only to prove it wrong. The effective person becomes the rival of the model, the value, or the vision you lead with. Owned, you can use a shared plan without having to be the only mind in the room.
Focus on the plan you called crude. Embody a colleague. Integration is using their procedure for one cycle before you improve it.
Ni · Witch / Senex
The inner image turns into a curse. You deliver a cold certainty that someone is finished, doomed, or secretly heading toward ruin, and you call it realism. It sounds like standards. It is a withering: you freeze their future so they feel the trajectory is already closed. One dark picture is enough to condemn the whole approach. Owned, the same coldness becomes a true limit. You can see when a path is actually dead, and you say so without needing them destroyed.
Focus on the cold certainty that someone is finished. Embody a limit without a curse. Integration is saying what path is actually closed, and stopping before you close the person.
Se · Trickster
The moment ties knots. Act and you are reckless; wait and you have missed it; either way you will say they chose wrong. Timing becomes a trick you set and then fall into yourself, blaming the situation for an impulse you will not own. Owned, you see the bind, and the third move appears: neither grab nor freeze.

Fi · Demon / Daimon
Banished, the inner value sabotages. A savage, wordless wrongness erupts and burns a bond, a post, or a body, because something sacred was violated and never allowed to speak. Or you betray yourself repeatedly and call it being reasonable, until the life goes dead. You do not experience it as conscience. You experience it as a blow. Faced, the same fire is a calling. You want what you did not invent to want, and you stop using purity as a weapon.
Focus on the wordless wrongness before it burns a life down. Embody the fire as a calling, not a weapon. Integration is speaking the violation while it is still a sentence, not a wreck.
Ti-hero will not close, so Ne-parent keeps opening doors and nothing is built. Opposing Te attacks other people's organization as crude. Witch Ni delivers a cold certainty that the whole approach is doomed. Trickster Se bungles the practical moment. Demon Fi treats values as a sentimental leak. The ego says: if it is not coherent, it is not.
The model is finished enough to be used, and inferior Fe is allowed to count the people the theorem is for. Opposing Te can organize without contempt. Witch Ni warns instead of cursing. Trickster Se is practiced until the hands work. Daimonic Fi becomes a conscience inside the design. Precision turns into a cup other people can drink from.
Observing and asking are among the greatest gifts. Find a collegial room where ideas can be played with. Locate your own interests. Give three complete examples when you explain. Watch where the thinking has gone rigid. People listen when you show the passion and the effect, not only the critique. Stay open to what is true socially as well as conceptually. Keep a few of life's pleasantries, and a work area free of mundane demand. Questions about improvement land better than criticism. Acknowledge the body and the anecdote or you float away. Find people who can turn the idea into something that sees daylight. It is allowed to express emotion.
Read from the rim inward: Dominant, Creative, Normalizing, Harmonizing. Four ways one lens gets believed. The eight roles are the cut of the lens. They do not change. The Self is the one who sees, and it is the same Self in every type. What the lens believes, it helps make. It is not a rank.
