Systems/Theorist
Conceptualizer Director
Abstract, self-directed, with a drive for self-mastery. Far ahead is calculated, and the deep reason under a thing is seen. Concepts, evidence, efficiency, systems, and strategy are the units of thought. A vision is built and steps are taken. Independence is preferred, and the leading edge is where they end up. Creative flow is the secret. Letting go enough to meet people freely is hard. Hero is Keen Foreseeing (Ni). Parent is Timely Building (Te). Child is Quiet Crusading (Fi). Inferior is Active Adapting (Se): the body, the group, and the concrete test the vision keeps skipping.
Theorist · Rational · need of mastery/Chart-the-Course
Abstract and pragmatic. The aim is mastery: a strategy that can be tested, a competence that earns the right to decide. They coordinate or engineer. Authority that cannot do the work is not respected.
Home of the introverted perceiving types. A course is set inside, often quietly, and movement waits until the line is true.
Roles 1-4. The same process is a different life in each role. Together they are the lens, not four lenses. This is how the process behaves here, in this type.
Ni · Hero
You lead with one inner image of where a thing is heading. Impressions are stripped until a single trajectory remains, often before the facts have lined up, and you trust that picture more than the menu of options still on the table. Identity fuses with foresight: if the image is threatened you feel unreal, so you defend it instead of updating it. You are patient with the forecast and impatient with people who are still collecting. At its best you see the shape others will only recognize later, and you can hold a campaign in one picture. At its worst you live in a future that has not consented to arrive, scorn whatever has not yet become the image, and treat the group you are standing in as noise.
Focus on one image long enough to test it against a fact you can touch this week. Embody the seer who can revise the picture without losing the thread. Integration is letting foresight serve a person with other people, then asking the body whether the future has actually arrived.
Te · Parent
You take care of people by organizing their effort. You assign, schedule, set the criterion, and clear the obstacle so the thing can actually happen. The care is real: you do not leave them in a feeling or a vision with no path. The distortion is imposing a plan they did not choose, and treating their pace or their feeling as a failure of discipline you are entitled to correct. The standard you impose is a result.
Focus on the obstacle you can actually clear. Embody organization as care. Integration is setting the criterion with them, not over them, and measuring what you agreed to measure.
Fi · Child
Value is play and a bruise. You are touched, loyal, particular about what feels right, and you sulk when the feeling is managed, debated, or called selfish. This is the part that wants a private allegiance without having to justify it. Welcomed, it keeps a strategic or tactical life from becoming empty. Mocked, you harden, call everyone else a fake, and leak the judgment as taste, withdrawal, or a sudden moral no.
Focus on one allegiance that does not need a speech. Embody the particular heart. Integration is a private loyalty practiced in public in one small way, so it stops leaking as a sudden moral no.
Se · Anima / Animus
The concrete fact is the soul's door, and you are clumsy at it. The body, the group, the immediate opportunity fascinates you and then humiliates you. You miss the moment, misread the impact, chase sensation to feel real, or idealize the person who is simply here. Performing physical confidence fails. If you let the moment inform you without having to win it, a life of inner images remembers it is located.
Focus on the group you are actually in. Embody a beginner at impact. Integration is one physical, timely act a day: the walk, the repair, the meal, done without turning it into a performance of confidence.
Roles 5-8. The functions the ego exiled, in the attitude it refused. They are still this lens. They are the part of the perspective the observer was not allowed to use.
Ne · Opposing
Other people's options irritate you. You swat alternatives, call them naive, and insist the trajectory is already known. When you do spray counter-possibilities, it is to block someone else's idea, not to explore. The person who sees other ways becomes the rival of the picture, the record, or the plan you lead with. Owned, you can hold an option without having to destroy the singular view you trust.
Focus on the option you dismissed as naive. Embody a mind that can hold another way without abandoning your own. Integration is stealing the useful piece of their idea and thanking it.
Ti · Witch / Senex
Analysis becomes a curse. You pick a person or a plan apart until nothing they are survives the categories, and you call it honesty. One inconsistency is enough to condemn the whole approach. Cold, exact, and meant to shrink them. Owned, the same precision is a true limit. You can say when an account does not hold, without needing the person demolished.
Focus on the single inconsistency you are using to condemn the whole. Embody precision without a demolition. Integration is naming what does not hold, and leaving what does.
Fe · Trickster
The social field ties knots. Speak and you have ruined the tone; stay quiet and you do not care. Invitations that are traps. Praise that relocates the moment you accept it. You are often caught in the same bind, unsure whether you are liked. Owned, you see the game, and a third way of being with people appears that is neither performance nor exile.
Focus on the double message that keeps everyone polite and lost. Embody one meaning the group can act on. Integration is saying what you need from them, without the smile that cancels it.
Si · Demon / Daimon
Banished, the stored impression sabotages. The body keeps a score you will not read: illness, compulsion, a past that returns as a symptom because it was never allowed to be a memory. You do not experience it as recall. You experience it as a breakdown of the form you were defending. Faced, the record becomes a calling back into continuity with what you are, including the life you tried to outrun.
Focus on the symptom that is a memory you will not read. Embody continuity instead of a breakdown. Integration is letting the body finish the story in words, or in rest, before you redesign the life.
Ni-hero treats the forecast as already real, so Te-parent starts commanding a future that has not arrived. Opposing Ne swats other people's options. Witch Ti curses a plan for one inconsistency. Trickster Fe ties the group in a social bind. Demon Si fears that the record of what already happened will undo the vision. The ego says: I already see how this ends.
The same strategy stays, and inferior Se is allowed to check it against the group, the body, and the fact. Opposing Ne can then explore without panic. Witch Ti protects the model instead of sneering. Trickster Fe stops the double bind. Daimonic Si becomes respect for what the past already taught. The plan serves people who are not the plan.
Seeing through fog and holding complexity are top talents. Recruit people who believe the idea, and show them the project so the vision stays realistic. Get the tools to build and test. A mentor helps. Automate and delegate what is not only yours. Attend to how you communicate. Ask what others need, and learn the tools for trust. Keep at least three good friends. Express the feeling. You do not need to push every relationship in order to learn. Treat others as more human than you treat yourself. Put health, body, and environment into every plan. There are always more choices. Be ready to rethink what success means.
Read from the rim inward: Dominant, Creative, Normalizing, Harmonizing. Four ways one lens gets believed. The eight roles are the cut of the lens. They do not change. The Self is the one who sees, and it is the same Self in every type. What the lens believes, it helps make. It is not a rank.
