Facilitator Caretaker
They accept and help, and they are often the one managing people. They hear the person out, voice the concern, and accommodate the need. What is personally important stays in mind, and providing it is the talent. Other people's success is admired. Pleasantness and continuity are kept, and the human cost is counted. They can surprise, rebel, or invent. Entrepreneurial projects let them down easily. Hero is Friendly Hosting (Fe). Parent is Cautious Protecting (Si). Child is Excited Brainstorming (Ne). Inferior is Skillful Sleuthing (Ti): the cold analysis that either vanishes or arrives as a sudden critique.
Stabilizer · Guardian · need of continuity/In-Charge
Concrete and cooperative. The aim is belonging and continuity: logistics, duty, the institution that keeps people safe. They administer or conserve. A new idea has to prove it can carry the people already here.
Home of the extraverted judging types. Energy is aimed. Decisions are made in the open so other people can move.
Roles 1-4. The same process is a different life in each role. Together they are the lens, not four lenses. This is how the process behaves here, in this type.
Fe · Hero
You lead with the shared field. You track who is in, who is strained, and what tone would bring them into one climate so the group can move. Values are read between people, not only inside one chest. Identity fuses with the bond. If you are not midwifing the room you feel like no one. At its best you make separate people into a we, and you can host a development. At its worst harmony is so managed that an inconvenient truth is treated as disloyalty, and someone else's growth becomes your résumé.
Focus on the truth the shared mood is hiding. Embody the host who can let one person be unhappy. Integration is tending the field, then letting a private value refuse the harmony that is lying.
Si · Parent
You take care of people by remembering for them. You offer the proven sequence as love: this is how it is done, this is what you needed last time, this is the standard that already worked. The care is real. It is how a circle stays fed, dosed, and unsurprised by chaos. The distortion is requiring them to live inside your memory of the right way, and going cold when they change it. The standard you impose is a past.
Focus on what they needed last time, and ask whether that is what they need now. Embody memory in the service of a living person. Integration is teaching the sequence, then permitting one deviation without a cold withdrawal.
Ne · Child
Possibility is play and a bruise. You light up when a new connection appears, and you sulk when someone demands you pick, stay, and stop generating. This is not always your public job. It is the part that wants permission to be unfinished. Welcomed, it keeps a serious, responsible life from turning into a monument. Mocked, you hide the ideas, decide the world is dull, and leak the unlived options as jokes, tangents, or trouble.
Focus on one connection that delights you and give it a home. Embody curiosity that does not have to run the whole life. Integration is a scheduled hour of play with ideas, so the rest of the day can keep its shape.
Ti · Anima / Animus
The inner standard of consistency is the soul's door, and you are clumsy at it. You are fascinated by someone who seems purely logical, or humiliated when your own reasons do not hold and you cannot find the leak. You worship the clean model, or you dismiss thinking as cold and then get undone by a critique you cannot answer. Performing certainty fails. If you let the principle inform you, a life of impact, loyalty, or care remembers it can be examined.
Focus on the leak in your reasons that you keep stepping over. Embody a student of consistency. Integration is asking one hard question of your own account, and living with the answer for a day.
Roles 5-8. The functions the ego exiled, in the attitude it refused. They are still this lens. They are the part of the perspective the observer was not allowed to use.
Fi · Opposing
Other people's values irritate you. You attack their warmth, their loyalty, their authenticity as performance. You block by implying your feeling is the real one and theirs is sentiment. The person who leads with the heart becomes the rival. Owned, you can let a value stand in the room without having to defeat it to stay coherent.
Focus on the warmth you called performance. Embody a person who can let a value stand. Integration is asking what they are protecting, and not scoring it against your own.
Se · Witch / Senex
Impact becomes a curse. You force a crude immediate compliance: the scene, the threat, the physical override, the 'do it now' that is meant to break someone. It sounds like realism. It is a withering. You use the moment as a weapon. Owned, the same force is a true limit. You can meet what is actually happening and stop a fantasy before it hurts someone, without needing to dominate them.
Focus on the urge to force the moment. Embody a hard stop that is not a domination. Integration is meeting what is real, and using only as much immediacy as the danger requires.
Ni · Trickster
Foresight ties knots. You imply you know how this ends, then deny you implied it. You hint at a destiny and leave the other person chasing a picture you will not confirm, so that whatever they choose, the unspoken forecast makes them wrong. You get trapped by your own hunches the same way, mistaking a tangle for an insight. Owned, the trick becomes humor about certainty, and a third future appears that neither your ego nor the bind required.
Focus on the destiny you hinted and will not confirm. Embody a straight answer about what you do not know. Integration is naming the third future, the one that is neither your secret picture nor their panic.
Te · Demon / Daimon
Banished, the demand for results sabotages. A ruthless efficiency erupts and cuts what you love, the bond or the body sacrificed to a standard you did not know you were serving. Or the opposite: you cannot make anything happen, and the life stalls in a shame you cannot organize your way out of. You do not experience it as competence. You experience it as a sentence. Faced, effectiveness becomes a calling. You build what the deeper life actually asked for, and you stop using output as a substitute for it.
Focus on the efficiency that cuts what you love, or the stall you cannot organize. Embody building in the service of the deeper life. Integration is one concrete structure that protects the bond instead of replacing it.
Fe-hero makes warmth conditional, and Si-parent keeps a ledger of who has been ungrateful. Opposing Fi sulks that one's own needs are invisible. Witch Se creates a scene. Trickster Ni implies a doom if the custom is broken. Demon Ti cuts the bond with a cold correction. The ego says: if they are not grateful in the right way, they are not really here.
Providing stays generous and stops being a test. Inferior Ti is allowed to ask what is actually true, not only what keeps the peace. Opposing Fi gives the host a right to need something. Witch Se can handle a real disruption. Trickster Ni loosens the omen. Daimonic Ti becomes a clean limit. Hospitality with room for the guest who does not perform thanks.
Knowing what people need is as much the gift as caring for it. People may feel odd, and that is allowed. Sometimes leaving them alone is how they mature. Drama is not love. Most people cannot be as emotionally up-front as you, because they are busy with what the thing means. You can be more independent, and you can say no. Help them cultivate courage. Before you commit, consider how grateful they can be. Replace "I deserve it" with "how do I earn it." Helping hands sometimes hurt. Tradition is not everyone's home. The group is only one source of identity. Love is as love does.
